FRIEDMAN JOSE 20 – QUAD CORTEX V2 CAPTURE PACK

26 DI Captures | 10 Custom IRs | From Classic Plexi to Hot-Rodded Jose High Gain

Experience the full range of the incredible Friedman JOSE 20 with this collection of 26 Quad Cortex V2 DI Captures.

Inspired by the legendary amplifier modifications of Jose Arredondo, the Friedman JOSE 20 takes the feel and character of classic British Plexi circuits and pushes them into the hot-rodded, harmonically rich high-gain territory that helped define generations of rock guitar tones.

This is not simply a high-gain amp.

The JOSE 20 can cover an enormous tonal range, and this pack is designed to capture exactly that.

The 26 captures take you from open, punchy Plexi-style tones and edge-of-breakup sounds through classic British crunch, modded rhythm tones and all the way into saturated Jose-style lead gain.

Its internally bridged Volume I and Volume II controls recreate classic channel jumping, allowing bright attack and warmer body to be blended together. The Plexi/Gain switch introduces an additional gain stage, while the three-position Gain Style control changes the circuit response and introduces different Jose-inspired clipping structures.
