FRIEDMAN JOSE 20 – NAM A2 CAPTURE PACK

26 DI Captures | 10 Custom IRs | From Classic Plexi to Hot-Rodded Jose High Gain

Capture the complete character of the Friedman JOSE 20 with this collection of 26 NAM A2 DI Captures.

The JOSE 20 is Friedman's compact interpretation of one of the most influential hot-rodded British amplifier concepts in rock history.

Developed by Dave Friedman in collaboration with Marisol Arredondo, the amplifier is inspired by Jose Arredondo's legendary modifications and combines classic Plexi character with additional gain stages, different clipping structures and the aggressive harmonic response associated with the famous Jose sound.

The goal of this pack is simple:

Capture every important gain range of the amp.

You'll find everything from dynamic Plexi tones with plenty of headroom, through edge-of-breakup and classic crunch, into hot-rodded rhythm tones, fat high gain and saturated lead sounds.

The JOSE 20's internally bridged Volume I and Volume II controls recreate the interaction of classic jumped British channels. The Plexi/Gain switch adds an additional gain stage, while its three-position Gain Style switch changes the circuit structure and clipping behavior for distinctly different levels of attack, saturation and sustain.
